Developmental Services Division Job Coach Jules Cleophat was recently the recipient of the Gerry Wright Direct Service Employee Award! This award was presented virtually by the Providers’ Council during their 65th Annual Convention & Expo, which took place from October 19 – 21.

Mr. Cleophat has been with Vinfen at the Employment Training Center providing job coaching supports to adults with developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges for over 20 years. He also works at Vinfen residential programs after day service hours and on the weekends to provide continuity of support for the individuals served at Vinfen.

Senior Program Director Jessica Almeida nominated Mr. Cleophat. “Jules chooses to actively support members who have complex needs and demonstrates an incredible skill and joy in his work,” she shared. “He has been deserving of praise and respect for all the years he has worked at Vinfen, and we are constantly impressed by Jules’ dedication to the people he supports. We believe this award is an incredible way to honor his years of service,” Ms. Almeida added.

The Gerry Wright Direct Service Employee award goes to two selected direct service employees who demonstrate remarkable dedication to providing essential supports and care to individuals.
