Residential Director Receives Outstanding Leadership Award

Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) Residential Director Kiwi Diaz was a recent recipient of the Association For Behavioral Healthcare (ABH)’s Outstanding Leadership Award!

During ABH’s 2021 Virtual Salute to Excellence on October 15, Mr. Diaz was honored and celebrated for his dedication to the people Vinfen serves and his contributions to the community-based mental health community. ABH’s Salute to Excellence is an annual event that recognizes individuals and groups who have made outstanding contributions to community-based behavioral healthcare in Massachusetts.

Mr. Diaz has such gratitude for receiving this award. He shared, “This feels absolutely amazing! Thank you for this very kind and generous recognition. I am so honored to be a recipient of the Outstanding Leadership Award from ABH but cannot take all the credit. I could not achieve this without the trust and confidence from my team leader and the endless dedication and hard work from all of the program directors here in Cambridge/Somerville – plus they make me laugh.”

ACCS Program Director Joseph Treff nominated Kiwi for this award. He shared, “Kiwi is more than just an example of the sort of professional I strive to be; he is also a role model for the kind of human I want to become. For these reasons, and many more, there are none more deserving to win this award than Kiwi Diaz.”

A huge Congratulations to Mr. Diaz! He is surely an asset to Vinfen, and we celebrate his well-deserved recognition as a committed human services professional who is truly making a difference.
